I'm having the issue of pellets sticking in the hopper and creating a funnel, which in turn turns the igniter off. Any suggestions ?
Try to clean it and use a different brand of pellets.
Maybe try a foil wrap,keep the moisture in. I am battling with kind of the same issues, except had 2 slabs going. Trying to keep the temp at 225 for 3 hours. Nice video by the way!

And still, it went out well before 570° F. What does one purchased today actually reach now? This is why I tested and showed. I would like someone to do a follow up for 2024. I am doubtful it reaches even the latest spec.

What do you use to wipe down the grill? I just bought a used one, but they never cleaned it, so it is super greasy.
Been a long time since I let one get to that point. But, I know the hardware stores sell some grill cleaning products you can try.

This is a good cover, but even using the velcro straps under the extended tables doesn’t keep high winds from blowing it off. You need a velcro strap wrapped around the grill body in addition to the cover.

There is a ton of strong opinions on this. I'm looking at getting a new grill and debating this topic. My current Weber Spirit is 10 years old and the cast is deteriorating and flaking. It does have a great sear and flavor. Good to see the stainless can perform at least as well. Thinking I'm going with the 9mm SS for my next Weber.

I just replaced my cast iron with stainless. I went with the 9mm thick ones instead of the 7mm. It seemed to make sense that the thicker ones would retain heat better. They worked really well . Really nice grill marks on my pork chops.

Been doing my brisket’s almost the exact same way for a few years. I pick out a prime brisket and take to the counter and the butcher cuts and trims it for me and it actually weighs out less and thus saves $! Love this method and great video!

The ambient probe. Is it useful only to receive notifications on your phone? I don't get otherwise the usefulness of it since there's an analog thermometer on the grill lid, and on your video they deliver the same readings.
Dude, there is a port on the side to insert your temp prob into the smoker.

And sometimes, not using the slot works best for me. As I have explained in videos Have a nice day, hope the video helps. Don't get hung up over that hole, it doesn't do much. There is no major heat loss or gap using the door. Look around this channel You will find I have a history of helping with this cooker 🙂

Thank you for the smoker box video and wood smoking idea. I just bought a Genesis 335 three burner grille and I plan to add a smoker box. If Weber provided a "hinged" grate section, then access to the smoker box wouldn't be an issue (hint, hint to Weber).
I vacuum out my gmg ledge and peak the next day after I cook.
